Chunky Hair Color is a popular method of coloring sections of the hair. An alternative to the traditional Highlighting process, chunking is a technique that Highlights large portions of hair. Color choices can vary drastically. Some individuals use chunking as a method of infusing ultra-bright, unexpected shades into their natural hair color. This creates a drastic contrast between the two shades, and the look is typically very bold and rich.
Chunking is also known as Balayage Highlighting. Though it’s a relatively recent addition to the hair coloring world, it’s fast become one of the most popular looks today. The good news is that no matter what type of hair you have, you can take advantage of this popular style. Regardless of your hair’s length or texture, it’s possible to achieve chunk-style Highlights without any hassle.
Adding chunky Highlights to your hair can produce a dramatic result that can especially compliment a new Hair Cuts or Hairstyles. If you are timid about color and having difficulty selecting a color you are comfortable with, or if you have no experience with hair color, it is probably best to find a stylist before you proceed on your own. Chunking is a fun look that most people can pull off in some fashion. Ask a stylist for books that show Chunky Highlight, or browse images online to get an idea of what sort of look would suit you.
Traditional Highlighting effects are achieved by chemically lightening small strands of hair. The techniques used in highlighting can include a frosting cap, foiling, or simply applying color or bleach to the tips of the hair. Chunky Highlight are applied in much the same way, but to much larger sections of hair. Some people prefer to keep the color more natural, with very little contrast to their natural color, and others want a bolder look, with brightly colored or richly contrasting Highlight.
Always remember to conduct a patch test prior to using any new hair color products. Even if you’ve used a particular brand before, there’s no guarantee that you won’t experience irritation with various products from the line. It’s better to be safe than sorry when you’re applying chemical products to your hair.

Excellent for home hair coloring,
This is the next best thing to having a friend help you color your hair. I use way less hair dye by using these brushes than I did using the pointy squirt bottle.
Price is very reasonable. You’ll use everything in the kit. Makes a messy job much neater. I’m able to reach more of the back of my head.

Bowl, brushes, and three clips allow me to perfectly dye just the part of my hair that I want. Excellent for the price plus free shipping with Amazon Prime, just remember to pick up some gloves!

Sincerely, I am delighted with the functionality of this kit which I purchased to better apply my BKT. I find that the bowl serves a double function – 1) to pour hair treatments into – 2) a container that could be used to rinse out products from hair. The plasticity of the bowl is well molded and quite sturdy. The rest of the items are a plus. I definitely recommend this kit.

layer blending mode would also work
maybe the overlay bland mode would be easier or color
